Max Factor X CC Cream and Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick

Hello ladies,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend last Saturday, because all I read on the socmed is all about the heavy traffic jam like anywhere in Jakarta. I think things need to be done, asap, don't you think?! So while others are struggling with the local transportation, I deal with stuffs I love, cosmetics!!

These goodies from Max Factor is the newest thing around, CC Cream and Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick.

-*-

They gave me 2 CC Cream in 50 and 60 (medium and natural), Colour Elixir in 15 and 45 (vibrant pink and intense plum). The press release and details are provided as well.

-*-

Both of the shades given for the CC Cream are to dark for me, it's a good thing I have a sister with darker shade of skin, she can easily use 50 (natural).

-*-

Before that, please do read the details given below from the press release:

Not to worry, for all of you with different skin tone, the product comes with 6 different shades that will matches your skin tone perfectly, I think it is best to use the exact one as CC Cream supposed to be about looking natural and enhance the original skin, not about changing the color and looks odd.

-*-

Above is my sister using 50 (natural), the CC Cream shade matches her skin like gloves. The CC Cream has a pleasant texture and feels lightweight on the skin (like a CC Cream should be), contain SPF 10 which is very light and meant to be used with another sun protection if needed (during a broad day light). The product enhance her natural skin, please do take a look on the before image below:

The CC Cream lightly even out her skin tone, blurs out blemishes and add glows without looking oily nor dry. So it was between matte and glowing. Like mention on the press release the product can be layered with foundation if needed and concealer as well. For natural looking a loose powder afterward is enough. This should be suffice as a daily base.

Let's move on to the colors shall, we?!

-*-

I agree on them for the strong colors, below are the selections given:

-*-

From subtle pink to daring red and brown colors, mine is the pinkest of the pink and the purplest from the plum.

-*-

And below are the actual look on the lips, and no, I'm not trying to gives extra shines to the lips and made the images seems extra glowing, the products does that for themselves.

-*-

It looks like the camera even got beaten by the glow.

The feeling on the lips is a bit full and like a lip balm, in terms of balmy creaminess and thickness. In terms of color, I think the image shown how pigmented they are.

The Colour Elixir are tough to clean as well, so I get the part where it said, it will last all day. Just reapply when added shine is needed. The product is very soft, like a balm, so do not press it too hard as it will breaks off easily.

-*-

Thank you Max Factor Indonesia.
