1. Choose your primer to create the perfect canvas for smoother, more even and longer lasting foundation. Select the Step 1: Skin Equalizer that matches your skin concern.

• Normal Skin: Apply Hydrating to the entire complexion

• Oily Skin: Apply Mattifying only to the areas where shine develops quickly. Use a very small amount - the size of a grain of rice.

• Dry Skin: Apply Nourishing to the entire complexion

• Enlarged Pores: Apply Smoothing to enlarged pores and

fine lines.

  2. Apply two pumps of Ultra HD Liquid Foundation in thin layers, starting in the center of the face and stretching outward.

• Buildable Coverage: For best results, apply with a flat foundation brush or sponge

o Flat foundation brush (Artisan Brush #108): Tap to build coverage where needed. Then, stretch outward for a smoothing effect.

After being inspired by their work of art, I feel challenged to try on the foundation myself. Of course with a clear mind that they are professional and I'm just an amateur.

Seems like experience is clearly the best medicine.

I went home with a bottle of shade 115 and it appear to be the perfect tone for me.

Above is my before anything on. Just skincare and nothing to it. And without using any base on, I'm trying the Ultra HD Liquid Foundation. It is obvious that I want to try it alone as the base. I think it does works better after a base is put on since some redness is still visible. The below image is my after Ultra HD Foundation.

There are some ways to apply the product as mentioned on their official website. From using a brush, sponge and I'm using my fingers as well, since the texture is really runny and easily blended onto the skin. I can understand the flexibility and how it covers the skin like a thin film of mask being pulled over from ear to ear. I'm wearing no makeup makeup.

A single layer cover fine to mediocre imperfections and the layer can be added without being cakey or noodling. Like a soft makeup with powerful impact, invisible yet has visible differences between using it and none.

Piling it with powders, color makeup, contouring and highlight is a bliss and everything feels light and comfortable since the base itself is somewhat alive. Like it is the kind of base that becomes better and better after hours of using it.

It doesn't crack nor dry under any pressure, it has this springy ability and also tolerate sweat plus movement really well. A makeup that definitely become the A game and used during special occasion when you want everything to be perfect.

Is there any downside of this product, well, if you're looking for an all in one base, this is definitely not it. A base or primer is still desperately needed and a touch of powder afterwards. Either loose powder for natural finish or compact for maximum coverage. Do use everything in the Ultra HD department, I'm looking forward for their concealer and hopefully can give it a go together with the liquid foundation and don't forget to stay alert, their stick Ultra HD foundation seems like a hit too.
